AMOCORP®-AC – Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin Oral Powder (VET)
Ideal antibiotic combination for superior action.

AMOCORP®-AC exerts broad bactericidal activity in fighting infections and counteracts beta-lactamase producing organisms.

Composition

• Amoxycillin Trihydrate I.P. – equivalent to Amoxycillin: 10% W/W
• Cloxacillin Sodium I.P. – equivalent to Cloxacillin: 10% W/W
• Excipients: q.s.

AMOCORP®-AC is absorbed rapidly and completely into the system providing prolonged serum concentration and superior bioavailability for assured clinical response. It is safe and economical.

AMOCORP®-AC exerts superior bactericidal effect, offers higher serum concentrations, is acid-stable, and is rapidly and completely absorbed even in the presence of feed compared to Ampicillin.

It resists beta-lactamase producing organisms and enhances the spectrum of Amoxycillin. AMOCORP®-AC is bactericidal providing superior action, effective against gram-negative aerobic bacteria, and offers complete absorption from GI tract even in the presence of Calcium, Magnesium, and Iron salts, unlike Tetracyclines.

Mode of Action

AMOCORP®-AC competitively inhibits penicillin-binding proteins, leading to upregulation of autolytic enzymes and inhibition of cell wall synthesis.

Dosage

Prophylactic Use:

• 1 – 2 gm / 4 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days
• Or as directed by veterinarian
