AMOCORP® AC-20

AMOCORP®-AC 20 is an Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin Oral Powder (VET), an ideal antibiotic combination for superior action. It exerts broad bactericidal activity against infections and counteracts beta-lactamase producing organisms.

Composition

Each 1 kg contains:

• Amoxycillin Trihydrate I.P. equivalent to Amoxycillin : 20% W/W
• Cloxacillin Sodium I.P. equivalent to Cloxacillin : 20% W/W
• Excipients : q.s.

AMOCORP®-AC 20 is rapidly and completely absorbed, providing prolonged serum concentration and superior bioavailability for assured clinical response. It is safe, economical, acid stable, and absorbed even in the presence of feed.

AMOCORP®-AC 20 resists beta-lactamase producing organisms and enhances the antibacterial spectrum of Amoxycillin. It offers superior bactericidal action and complete absorption from the GI tract even in the presence of Calcium, Magnesium, and Iron salts, unlike Tetracyclines.

Mode of Action

AMOCORP®-AC 20 competitively inhibits penicillin-binding proteins, leading to upregulation of autolytic enzymes and inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Dosage

• 1 – 2 gm per 8 litres of drinking water for 3 to 5 days
